Star Wars Night

How fabulous is this?

The Port Huron Icehawks recently had Star Wars night.

And this isn't the first time they've done it! Check out the photos here.

The previous jersey is this one right here:

Why can't the Georgia Garrison do this?

Funny you should ask. I'm going to speak with Garrison people (namely Madog) to see if I can work approach local teams in the Georgia mostly Atlanta area.

Who knows if it will be successful meetings, but I'm ready to start helping more. For some curious, I did try to arrange something with the Braves last year. It didn't work on two levels. First, they wanted it to occur during DragonCon. After some discussions with would be likely participants, that was a bad thing for Trooper participation. Second, the guy who was all a-go for it on the Braves side took a new job and relocated outside the Braves organization. Believe it or not, free troopers are not an easy sell.

I'll see if I can get the ball rolling again, earlier this year.

Just for fun, here are some more jerseys and such with a Star War-sy twist. Let's start with some concept designs for hockey, baseball, and basketball.

And some actual jerseys. A couple of Star Wars and some awesome Transformers.
