Money From Ticketmaster, No Ring Pops, and Women

Don't get too excited, but Ticketmaster is being forced to payout money to anyone who used the system between October 21, 1999 and October 19, 2011.

Ever seen this screen?

Then you get money.

Well, $1.50 per transaction. With a max 17 transactions over that time.

So a max $25.50 (assuming there is no more money taken out).

Don't expect your credits quite yet, though. Credits won't be issued prior to April 15, 2012, and should come within 30 days after Final Approval of the settlement (currently scheduled for May 29, 2012).

UPS expedited shipments may have some more coming at them too. Those part of the UPS subclass of the suit are entitled to an additional $5.00 credit per ticket. Both credits are in the form of vouchers, which can be redeemed a maximum of two at a time.

Yay.

In other news, the NBA is back and the current champions, the Dallas Mavericks are not getting their ring pops.

Yeah, go back and read this blog post explaining the original reason for the candy bling. But that is not happening as Dallas owner Mark Cuban is going the traditional route with rings, designed by the players (or at least with influence from the team).

Basically, the season kicks off on December 25, but the ring ceremony will come later.

Finally, here's the link to the Toronto Maple Leafs Ice Crew that was missing from the most recent ice girl post.

I'll get back in line here soon, hopefully. My apologies for the absence. As an act of remorse, I offer some more pictures from artist J. Scott Campbell.

Here's a preview of Cinderella.

For more, you can look at the addition here. For the originals as featured in the Anaheim Ducks Power Players blog post, look here.
