This was my hands down, absolute favorite thing to do at the Magic Kingdom. I would never walk around it if I was there and often planned my schedule to include this as my last activity.
Here's the concept. Five large presents come out and surround the Partners Statue in the main hub, in front of Cinderella Castle. Characters were dancing around each float, along with stilt walkers and party goers. After a few dances, guests were invited to join in the fun, take to the streets, and dance with the characters. Eventually, the host would open up the presents to reveal some special guests. Kinda looks like this...
Let's start with the first float, which did not open up because the host was positioned on top. Classic Disney characters surrounded this float, including Mickey, Minnie, Donald, and Goofy.
The first present had the Incredibles dancing around it. Once opened, the Genie popped out to join the fun.
It was a wild time with the fourth present. King Louie and Baloo were in attendance but you can't have a party without crabs, so in comes Sebastian from the Little Mermaid.
Woody and Jesse from Toy Story were also there. Then suddenly, Bonjour!, Lumiere would make his debut.
The final present had a couple of chipmunks. Namely, Chip and Dale. Last, but not least, the final present housed The Mad Hatter, just waiting to celebrate your un-birthday.
Like I said, I absolutely loved this celebration.
On deck: Fantasmic and Beauty and the Beast from Hollywood Studios
In the hole: An EPCOT country
