Pixar Place and Hollywood Boulevard Pictures

Two different areas of Disney's Hollywood Studios. We start with the iconic Hollywood Boulevard.

This street runs right from the main entrance to the Mickey Hat. There's plenty to see on either side of Hollywood, including Sid's Trivia.

There's a few characters that wander around. Every now and again, the Wildcats come out for a High School Musical act.

One of my favorite things at any of the parks are the Citizens of Hollywood. Below are some of them, including the Hollywood Public Works and Bucky Greenhorn, Hollywood's Next Leading Man.

I did see something I had never seen before: custodial workers using brooms, rubberbands and water to make some sidewalk art. It was something special. Below you can see the beginnings of Captain Hook and Stitch.

Behind the Hat is The Great Movie Ride, a journey that puts you in some of the most famous scenes of some of the most famous movies of all time including The Wizard of Oz, Aliens, Casablanca, and many more. Outside is the Mann's Chinese Theatre with hand prints from some famous folks. We see Jim Henson, Kermit the Frog, Mickey Mouse, Michael Jackson, Goofy, and the Rocketter (with scorch marks from where he took off!) just to name a few.

Now, we move into Pixar Place.

It is designed to look like Pixar Studios in Emeryville, California. It is really spectacular. There's a lot of toys all around.

It is also host the most popular attraction in all of Walt Disney World: Toy Story Mania.

You sit in a ride vehicle and play midway style games. It's a lot of fun. And, it's in 3D!

My score was beaver.

Going back to the line for a second, that Mr. Potato Head is a good singer! Listen.

Sorry it's a short video, but it's all I could get. But you see the point. He moves and talks and it's cool.

Moving back outside, there's a few characters to meet as well. I met Buzz, Woody, some Green Army Men, Mike and Sully, Lightning McQueen and Mater.

And no. I will not show you Buzz Lightyear's butt. Again.

Alright. That about wraps this one up. I did have one final picture though. I took it while walking back from the Boardwalk "Scary-Clown-Slide" Resort. It's Hollywood Studios from across the lake.

  1. I still haven't seen the potato head animatronic in person... I've only ever been in the fast pass line.
