Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge

The Animal Kingdom Lodge is one of the most popular resorts, mostly for the animals living right outside.

There are a few different types of birds hanging around, including flamingos and pelicans. Other animals live here too, but that area was closed to guests at the time I went on my photo shoot. It was probably 7:00 or so in the morning. I generally did these things early because not as many people were up and about. It's also the reason the sky is most of the time a white color and not blue in my pictures.

Anyway, birds...

The exterior of the resort is really amazing looking with the grass-thatched roofs and wonderful plants.

Inside, you can see some really amazing looking sculptures, masks, totems, windows and lighting. There is a bar area and the very popular Boma restaurant located at Jambo House.

Back outside, you can lay out by the pool under the banana trees with water feed by a spring near the entrance to the lodge. You could also relax by the nightly fire.

Nothing more in my records to show you now from this resort.

On deck: Canada from EPCOT
In the hole: A Magic Kingdom Celebration
